主要研究方向:手术机器人、医学图像处理、智能手术装备等

参与国内首台骨科手术机器人系统研发,完成国内首例机器人辅助骨科手术和首例远程骨科手术,该成果已成功实现产业转化,现为国内唯一获得CFDA产品注册的骨科手术机器人,该系统已在全国17省/市/自治区35家医院开展3700余例手术。与香港中文大学联合申报香港创新技术基金项目,合作研发主被动混合式骨科手术机器人,该系统成功进入临床应用并获得美国专利授权1项。参与美国NIH RO1项目,与美国约翰•霍普金斯大学合作开展基于连续体机器人的硬组织切削技术研究,相关成果联合发表在机器人和生物医学工程领域顶级国际会议上。在国际上率先开展振动钻削对骨骼切削热的影响研究,为骨科手术工具及机器人手术操作技术研究提供新的思路和方法。参与编写十二五、十三五科技部医疗器械产业规划,参与筹建医工整合联盟、北航医疗器械产业创新成果丹阳转化基地。主持参与国家自然科学基金、863、科技支撑、国家重点研发计划等项目10余项,香港ITF创新技术基金项目1项。发表论文30余篇;申获发明专利10余项,其中美国专利1项。在约翰•霍普金斯大学访问期间,参与美国NIH RO1项目,并与约翰•霍普金斯大学LCSR实验室达成战略合作。
